The House

The traditional Portuguese farmhouse was restored by its current owner, a Swedish American sailor who searched for a long time for a location which made him feel as peaceful and as tranquil as at sea.

'Quinta Esperança’ has been a cherished family home for the last 12 years.

The house is typical Algarvian with open beam and cane ceilings as well as old style terracotta flooring.

Portuguese rustic charm prevails throughout the house along with the owners collection of nautical antiquities.

There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the valley and has a bathroom just off.

There is another double bedroom as well as a twin which share the second bathroom. The third bathroom is just off the pool area.

The charming sitting room offers satellite TV with several English speaking channels, as well as a dvd player, and music system.

A rustic kitchen offering all the modern conveniences.

Bourganvillias, Fig trees and natural Cacti surround the enchanting 'cobalt blue' circular pool. (6.5 meters in diameter) There is also a BBQ, shaded covered terraces with table and chairs, all of which overlooks the wonderful hill views.
